Collection: Manitoba Native Plants

Manitoba’s prairies are carpeted with native grasses and wildflowers such as prairie smoke, wild bergamot, and prairie crocus. In the parkland region, trembling aspen and balsam poplar intermingle with open meadows. Northern boreal forests feature black spruce, tamarack, and Labrador tea in the understory. Along the Hudson Bay coast, hardy tundra plants like Arctic willow and crowberry withstand short, cool summers.
