Collection: Oak Titmouse (Baeolophus inornatus)

The Oak Titmouse is a small, plain gray songbird found primarily in western North America, especially California and parts of Oregon and Baja California. It lives year-round in oak woodlands, chaparral, and mixed forests.

This bird has a short crest, a simple gray appearance, and a distinctive raspy call. Oak Titmice nest in tree cavities and feed on insects, seeds, and acorns. They are non-migratory and often seen in pairs or small flocks.
