Collection: Ontario Native Plants

Ontario’s native flora spans from boreal species like black spruce and jack pine in the north to deciduous forests of maple, oak, and basswood in the south. Spring brings trillium, bloodroot, and wild columbine to woodland floors. Wetlands brim with cattails, marsh marigold, and wild rice, while prairies and alvars support big bluestem, blazing star, and wild bergamot. Along the Great Lakes, dune habitats shelter beach grass and sand cherry.
