Collection: Quercus Genus

Quercus is a genus of about 500 species of trees and shrubs known as oaks. They grow widely across the Northern Hemisphere, including North America, Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Oaks are absent from the Arctic, Antarctic, most of Australia, New Zealand, and nearly all of South America.

Oaks can be deciduous or evergreen with lobed or toothed leaves. They produce acorns, an important wildlife food source. Many species live for centuries and have strong, durable wood. Oaks play a vital role in forests by supporting countless insects, birds, and mammals.
