Quintana Roo Native Plants

Quintana Roo’s tropical forests and coastal ecosystems support an abundance of native plants. Mangroves, seagrape, and salt-tolerant grasses stabilize the shoreline, while inland rainforests are rich with mahogany, ceiba, and chicozapote.
